"War Council"

Can you tell I like the cnocktipit (the orange guy) and the splint (the fellow on the right)? The mohawked babe in the spacesuit was put together in Poser 2, although her suit accessories (and everything else in the room) were added in trueSpace. It took me quite some time to get the room right, too, including all the lights and the various textures. The splint (I know, I know -- all I can say is that I was inspired, if that is the word, by the thrint in Larry Niven's early novel World of Ptaavs) and the cnocktipit (Niven, again) were modelled out of metaballs. I added IK (inverse kinematic) joints to the splint's arms so that I can animate him at a later date. The mohawk and some minor detailing were done in Photoshop. The spaceship in the monitor is part of the original comic-strip from whence the splint and cnocktipit hail. I scanned it in and mapped it over the screen object.
