  There's
a pond just beyond this tree, over the hill, but the tree itself and the
forest-y background really caught my eye. I painted the background literally
by hand, using a fingerpainting technique to get it as soft as possible.
Then I streaked in some Indian red to suggest the tree trunks. This is
a relatively large painting, 24" x 24". |
