Oil painting - "Mill Wheel," October 2001 |
 16" x 9½"  At
the Prallsville Mill, where I have painted many times, you'll find a few
of these big stone wheels, originally used to grind corn and what-not,
placed here and there around the grounds (no pun intended!). This one
leans picturesquely up against one of the main buildings. I found the
stairs and façade just as interesting as the wheel itself. |
